Ribs and chest pain
Since once year I have severe chest and ribs pain. Mainly at center and under breast bone. Sometimes it comes in upper abdomen. Have visited many doctors they say only acidity but I hope acidity will not remain these many months. Please suggest

Pain in the epigastric region could be due to multiple reasons.
1.If past trauma then could be related to it.
2.GERD can cause chest pain.
3.Hiatus hernias or lax valve are known to cause chest pain too
4.Xray n ecg needs to be done to rule out cardiac or pulmonary causes.
If its a chronic concern then some investigations are needed -serum calcium ,vit b12 n d.
