Rheumatoid for 3 years and now Lupus.

Asked for Female, 22 Years

Sir, My mother aged 47 has been taking medication for Rheumatoid arthritis for 3 years. Recently when she has given samples for ANA profile and after seeing reports doctor says, all these days we thought your problem is Rheumatoid but looks like it is Lupus. Her SGOT reports are also not good. Sir, what could have happened?

If patient is ANA positive than you shud plan fir medication as this will create multiple joint pains, take physiotherapy also to improve strength of muscles as joint pain are more common in this disorder. Do not worry, ANA can be controlled thru medications.
