Retinal detachment superotemporal region
Hello dr. I am a 25 yr old mbbs graduate .The day before I noticed that I lost my nasal field of right eye .i was blaming it on specs at first but when I actually noticed nothing could be seen in nasal field of right eye even more worse inferonasally I doubt this can be retinal detachment ,the loss is sudden n no pain ..Right eye is having a cylindrical no .myopic -6 and hypermetropic +2..Sir I want to know what r the treatment options .is it an emergency ?? At present I am in Delhi Narela .

Hello If it is retinal detachment then yes.. It is an emergency As your central vision is okay then after surgery, prognosis is good Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly consult local retina specialist and get retina examined Regards
