Required details for Angiogram
Hi, my grand mother who is of age 80 years is going for Coronary Angiogram test. Could you please tell me if fasting required for Coronary Angiogram test? And what are the pre medical tests that will be done before doing Coronary Angiogram?

Yes 6 hours fasting is needed before coronary angiogram. You need to get CBC, serum creatinineHIV, HBsAg and HCV tests done prior to the angiogram

Yes patient needs to be on fasting for atleast 6 hours before Coronary Angiography. Renal function, Liver function, Complete blood count, Viral markers are the premedical blood tests required.
