Hi Doctor, My mom (59 years) took covaxin for first dose but in report it is mentioned  as covishield. So can she take covishield for second dose ? . Please suggest what we can take for second dose. Which one is safe ?

But confirm that which vaccine they have given for first dose... It can't be different... They should mention the same whichever they have given

ONE ICMR STUDY SHOWS THAT COVAXIN AND COVISHIELD TAKEN AS 1ST AND 2 ND DOSES GIVE BETTER IMMUNOGENICITY THAN 2 DOSES OF THE SAME VACCINE .-----IT IS SAFE AND ADVERSE REACTIONS ARE SAME AS TAKING EITHER VACCINE AS 1ST AND 2ND DOSE .
