Please tell me about my mri report It is written t2/ flair hyper intensity is seen in the right sphenoid sinus likely polyp, what does it mean sir Please help me Complaints: Am 30 years old Yesterday I underwent coronary angiography for clarifying my doubt which was normal later in evening after smoking a cigarette I had some giddiness and, numbness in upper lip I checked blood pressure it was normal by the way am non diabetic and non hypertensive so I underwent mri so please tell me about my report neurologist,gp and radiologist said normal but am still worried of that hyer intensity in right sphenoid sinus what does it mean please help me

For polyp no need to worry Polyp is nothing but a small globular balloon like swelling Usually it does not cause any problem Occasionally it may cause sinus blockage or infection Just need a follow up scan every year or whenever necessary
