Thank you everyone for the objective advice. Pls ignore my last two queries now.
I have now made a decision & it's not going to be a sustainable one.
I would appreciate not hearing things like one act doesn't describe someone. Especially when psychology professionals are coming forth & saying such things isn't appreciated at all. Every act we do as humans is accounted for & we are responsible for all of them. I have had moments where I could go weak in my life but I don't think that resonates with my ideal of being a man & justifying it. I have women all over me, hitting hard on me. I get erections, I have even spent time working on getting less hyper sexual it has been a challenge, but not for once have I lost that control as a man, I have been a loyal man throughout, part of the reason isn't her, it's the decision I took when days were not the best because I believed in the power of love & still do. The fact that I was thinking of giving it a chance speaks enough.
Thank you all.

I can hear how much thought you've put into this. It sounds like you've reflected deeply on your own valuesâparticularly loyalty, commitment, and personal responsibilityâand you've reached a decision that you believe is consistent with those values.
You're right that our actions matter, and it's understandable that a partner's action can fundamentally change how safe, respected, or connected we feel in a relationship. At the same time, different people reach different conclusions about what a particular event means for a relationship. Neither staying nor leaving is inherently the "correct" choiceâit depends on each person's boundaries, values, and what they believe they can genuinely live with.
If you've reached a decision after careful reflection rather than in the heat of the moment, it's important to carry it out calmly and respectfully, without acting out of anger or seeking revenge. That will help you move forward with fewer regrets, whatever your decision may be.
Next Steps
Before taking any irreversible legal or personal steps, consider giving yourself one final opportunity to ensure that your decision is based on your long-term values rather than the intensity of recent emotions. If you still feel the same after that reflection, communicate your decision honestly and respectfully. If you continue to experience persistent insomnia, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty functioning after this event, speaking with a mental health professional can still be beneficialânot to persuade you to stay or leave, but to help you process the emotional impact and recover. Therapy is not about judging your decision; it is about helping you heal.
Health Tips
In the coming weeks, prioritize sleep, regular meals, physical activity, and staying connected with trusted friends or family rather than isolating yourself. Avoid making alcohol or other substances your way of coping with the pain. Emotional wounds from relationship betrayal often take time to heal, regardless of the decision you make. Finally, I want to acknowledge something positive in what you've written: despite feeling deeply hurt, you are trying to act according to your principles rather than reacting impulsively. Holding onto your values while treating yourself and others with dignity will serve you well, whatever path you choose next. I wish you strength and clarity as you move forward. Thank you
