Reoccurring fever since last night
My daughter is getting fever since 11:30 pm last night. Have been giving calpol 250mg - 5Ml every 6 hrs. temperature ranging from 100-101. At 6pm today, temperature rose to 103, hence gave Meftalgesic. Now, the temperature seems to be reducing, kindly suggest

If temperature reducing then continue the same. Do a COVID antigen test if temperature returns.

If fever isolate her with urself and give symptomatic management Give Crocin or Calpol not any other drugs for now. Get her and all people who were in direct contact tested for covid rtpcr. Although children will have only mild symptoms or none at all it's better to isolate them for 10 14 days at home so that it doesn't spread. If fever doesn't subside within 3 to 4 days then get her tested with CBC CRP blood culture also.

Hi. Continue paracetamol 6 hrly . Give a healthy diet and plenty of liquids/ water to drink.
