Reoccurrence of head-neck cancer
Patient had carcinoma in retro-molar trigone, for which surgery was performed on 28 feb 17, followed by 5 cycles of chemotherapy and simultaneous radiation for 6 weeks.
Within 4 months of the end of Radiation, PET Scan shows mild encasement in the region of left external and internal carotid arteries by ill defined soft tissue. And also shows necrotic area in the left submandibular region.
Also there is left vocal cord paralysis.
