Hello there, My advise will be, if the wisdom tooth is troubling you again and again get it removed and this will be permanent solution to your problem. Wisdom tooth erupts pity late and doesn't help much in eating, for some people where there is less space in the mouth it cause lots of problem including infection, so getting it removed will be the best option. Take care
Next Steps
meet your dentist get an opg done and get it removed
Health Tips
keep wisdom tooth area clean, it get infected if the food particles will get stuck in that area. You can use warm water and salt gargles.

Hi. If your wisdom tooth is erupting and it's also contracting the muscle, then best option would be extraction of tooth as long term/ complete solution. But sometimes after the complete erupting this problem gets resolve by itself, unless your tooth is not erupting straight.
Next Steps
You might have seen radiograph/xray image of your teeth. Generally if wisdom tooth gives you discomfort/pain repeatedly then, extraction is the best option than saving it. Because it may harm the adjacent tooth or the gums.
Health Tips
Your efficiency for chewing or eating won't effect without wisdom tooth.
