Removal of tonsils
Hi sir / Madam, I have removed my tonsils in childhood while I was 7 years old. Now I have so much fear in my mind because I read tonsils is 1st line immnue defence in body I do not have it in case I have covid infection in future. Please help me Thanks, Dnyaneshwar

Tonsils Are not the only lymphatic organs that Give Immunity removal of just tonsils will not increase the risk of developing any infections like Covid. Nothing to worry much if you do not have any symptoms related to Covid eat healthy food do regular exercises and follow safety precautions to keep yourself safe . take online consultation if you have any other doubts
