Removal of extra virgin coconut oil
Hi Doctor. I am pavan. I applied extra virgin coconut oil to my HAIR and FACE( BEARD AREA) and left it for 1 hour before shampoo. Its been 4 days and i still feel oiliness from my head and face. I think it got stuck to my head and face. I have been shampooing daily twice from 4 days. But in vain it is still feeling like a layer of coconut oil on my face and hair. And my face feels darker in complexion now. So can you please suggest does extra virgin coconut oil stick to our hair and skin that long. And how to remove it safely now and feel like normal again. Thanks.

Hi Pavan. You need to stop over washing your face or hair for sure. Over washing leads to irritation of skin and also leads to rebound oiliness of skin, what this means is your skin will produce more oil if it feels the skin is getting dehydrated or dry every time you are washing it. If your skin is irritated and dehydrated it will look dark and patchy.

It would be a good idea to do a phone or online consultation with us.
Health Tips
