Hello. Usually doctors withdraw metformin during pregnancy as it has little bit effect on foetus. Insulin is preferred during pregnancy times. But if you want to go on oral tablets that can be done with some drugs modification. The tablets you mentioned won't be safe at this moment but can be restarted after delivery.  Talk to your doctor about changing diabetes medications.
