Regarding usage of Rivaraxoban 2.5
After recovery from covid-19 my mother was prescribed to use rivaroxaban 2.5 mg for 20 days with other medicines. She doesn't have any kind of heart problems. she has been continuing the rivaraxoban 2.5mg medication even after 20 days. Is it ok to continue the rivaraxoban medication ? If so how long can she use this rivaraxoban .she doesn't have B.P or Diabetes.

Without any other indication, if only given for covid purpose and no thrombotic event during course of covid illness then it can be safely stopped after total 1 month

If she is active and doing all the work which she was doing precovid she can stop the tablet.
Just have a look on d dimer before stopping.
