Regarding thrombosis and d-dimer test
I am curious to know about the symptoms we should watch for the D-Dimer test in the covid recovered patient. How long should we watch for thrombosis or heart-related issue in the covid recovered patient after recovery?

Symptoms : calf pain or swelling, bluish discoloration of tips of hand and feet, Sudden onset difficulty in breathing, palpitations, irregular heart rate. Watch d dimer for 2 months after covid. If high, keep patient on anticoagulant.

Mostly symptoms comes within 3 months of recovery.you should watch for any severe calf muscle pain,chest pain, irregular heartbeat,any limb weakness.
