Check your posture while studying and doing other daily activities. The persistent slouch posture can put pressure on your food pipe and cause vomiting. Improve the posture of reading, writing, sitting for all purposes and mobile use.

Chronic issues take time to resolve. Seeing a good gastroenterologist is important. Yes, mood could also bring about issues. Dont only consider taking medication but also consult a psychologist who look at coping strategies. Are there any other symptoms, like onesided headaches, discomfort on exposure to light or some other things that suggest migraine. Also is it linked to specific food. Does changing diet help...
Next Steps
taking breaks in between work every 40 minutes would be a start with posture related issues. This would need assessment...

Hi, There are several reasons why you have an overactive gag reflex (gag reflex induces vomiting).  It's controlled by the nervous system, and sometimes it's also because of thinking about certain scenarios (psychological) or very sensitive areas in the tongue and throat. You might want to consult a neurologist if your gastroenterologist has already cleared for ulcers / chronic gastritis / gall bladder and liver diseases.
Next Steps
neurology consultation for further assessment
