Regarding rabies vaccine
Hi sir first i am giving all the details then i will ask my question. In November 2016 i have completed 5 doses of RABIPUR vaccine. Again in this month i took 1dose of Rabipur on 16 feb 2017. So my question is till how long will these vaccine will protect me from new exposure. some doctor said till 4 months no need to take booster dose for new exposure, some says take only 1 dose once in a year and i will be protected by it for any exposure in 1 year, some doctor used to say take 2 doses whenever their is new exposure. So i am really confused.. Till how long i am protected for new exposure as per my vaccines??? actually i am in a doubt as their is a scratch mark near my neck today, but i dont know how it happen,i am in doubt if any dog monkey have scratched by nail thati didnt noticed. so as i have taken a dose of rabipur on 16-2-17 And 5 Dose in Nov 2016 so will this will protect me for todays incident i.e of 23-2-17???or i need again booster dose?
