Regarding Rabies
Sir i was going through a village road,as it was a raining day so their was water in the road,a truck was coming from front n it crossed over the water due to that some parts of that road water sprayed on my legs,their was a little cut on my leg of 2-3days earlier,but it was covered by black skin and i saw earlier a dog was drinking that water,so my questionis That (i).because the water touched my legs and their was old little wound of 2-3days earlier so Can iget rabies?? (ii)Should i have to take vaccine?? Ifyes then how many vaccines?? (iii)Earlier i havetaken 12vaccine from 2008-2012,so if i again take vaccine will there be any side effect or reaction????

Hello there. I can understand your concern. First of all let me tell you that we don't know if the dog was suffering from rabies or not. If it was suffering from rabies, it usually stays away from water. Also, you said you have taken vaccination in the past and the last dose was in 2012, so you have immunity for 5-6 years anyways. You do not have to take rabies vaccine for the cut. Also since you have taken the vaccination before you already have immunity against rabies.
