Symptoms of ocd can be due to several reasons and can at times mimic other psychological and neurological conditions. Without a thorough evaluation, its not justifiable to label a disorder, or come to conclusion that a person has a particular psychiatric condition based on few informations from online portals, books and via general conversation. Generally, ocd symptoms vary in their presentation, some symptoms may reduce with time, and at times may be replaced by other obsessions and compulsions. If your symptoms are distressing, causing you discomfort and making it difficult for you to carry out your daily activities, then its best you seek a professional help. Its a must to rule out other possible co-morbid conditions as well
Next Steps
Please seek professional help, either a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist/ counsellor for further detailed evaluation and early intervention. OCD can be well managed when early intervention ( both/or psychiatric and psychological therapy ) is taken up.
Health Tips
Look out for other stressful conditions which may exaggerate the symptoms, and in case the symptoms are causing significant distress and  dysfunctionality,  leading to helplessness and hopelessness , suicidal thoughts/ ideas please consult a professional for immediate assistance and long term management.
