In babies, gas in tummy can be really uncomfortable. Try some techniques before using any medication. 1. Burping after every feed 2. Gentle massage of the tummy 3. Warm bath 4. Cycling movements of the babies legs 5. Swaddling your baby 6. Giving your baby some tummy time under strict supervision. Avoid gripe water as it may contain some ingredients which may be harmful for the baby. Generally baby should calm down after his feed and fall asleep. If baby continues to cry after feed, he might be still hungry. Get advice from a lactation expert. Watery stools in baby can be normal. And your constipation has no relation to baby's bowel movements.
Health Tips
If baby vomits after every feed, consult your pediatrician to rule out reflux problem in the baby. Also if baby is passing foul smelling motion or motion with mucus or blood, consult your pediatrician.
