In the morning, a monkey passed very close to me while I was walking on the road. I’m not sure if its nails touched or scratched me, as I didn’t feel anything at the time. There was no immediate pain or visible injury, so I didn’t think much of it then.
Later in the evening, I was walking near a road again, and I happened to get very close to a dog—just 1–2 steps away. I didn’t realize it was there until I was right next to it. I was wearing slippers, but the dog did not touch or bite me, and I didn’t feel anything unusual.
However, after coming home, I noticed a small scratch or peeled area on one of my toes. Now I’m feeling anxious, wondering if it could have come from the monkey in the morning or possibly the dog, even though I didn’t feel any contact.
Could you please advise , I don't want to take any rabies vaccine unnecessarily, please also clarify that dog or monkey nails does have rabies virus or not ?? some people says that SCRATCH doesn't cause rabies ? please tell truth
