Regarding kidney donor investigation rep
Please name the test for testing the donor so that he can able to donate ir not and how can it clear that he is able to donate..and is blood group is  major factor . the recipient blood group is AB POSITIVE.

Yes, blood group is important for kidney transplantion although other options are blood group incompatiable or swap kidney transplant. DTPA renal scan should be do to find out the differential kidney function of donor kidneys. There is complete list for the evaluation for kidney donor, consult your Nephrologist for advice or share your details so that I can advice appropriately.

If the recipient blood group is AB positive then donors blood group is not major factor There's no single test by which we can tell that the donor will be able to donate There are multiple stepwise test which actually decide weather person can donate the kidney Like His kidney function tests, GFR Urine protein Sugars Any viral infection Kidney imaging HLA matching & Lymphocytes cross match etc etc
