Its been around two months Since I am tested covid negative.
I was having Corad 4 lungs infection with severity score of 14/25
I want to know ...how much time does it takes green glass opacities and consolidation on lungs to get healed and removed completely.
Overall I am fine but sometimes feel the need to breathe with some force and sometimes I feel heaviness on chest...
Kindly tell me if this is normal. Secondly I also want to know what does breathlessness means in covid...is it shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing
Request to please reply

Usually it takes 3 to 6 months for healing. Dont over exert urself. Do breathing exercise regularly..if u still feel SOB then u need to consult a pulmonologist.

Hi. I understand your concern s. Do a online consult for a detailed analysis of your symptoms and to suggest you further management plan and treatment prescription for the same
It takes minimum 3months to disappearfor the ground glass opacities. However the lungs will heal by fibrosis. During the healing, heaviness of chest, pain, catching, congestion etc do happen. Nothing to worry. But you must not neglect.pl be in touch with Pulmonologist.
Shortness of breath, means, difficulty in breathing.breath is insufficient. Not able to take enough air.Breathlessness, means severity is more.un able to tolerate. They are used depending on the situation of the pt.As your ct was 14/25,it is better to consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
