Regarding findings of chest X-Ray
I am 36yr lady. On 15 Nov 21, I have undergone chest x ray. In the report following is written:- "A few fibrotic strands are seen in the left upper zone". Please clarify on the report. Is there anything to worry. Any sign of serious decease. And what will be the treatment and how long .??

Fibrotic strands usually represent scars of some past infection. However if there are any symptoms, better to consult a pulmonologist and get additional investigations like CT scan.

As India is endemic country to TB, all are exposed to TB and only some show signs of disease. From the report, a old healed tb is a possibility. However, need the indication of cxr, any symptoms u had before deeming insignificant...
