To the doctor concerned,
My name is Janani Srinivas and I'm 21 years old. For the past few months, things were pretty hard on me, due to which it took an emotional toll on myself. I tried to calm myself down at every situation, but I failed to do so. Things like stress is killing me internally and this stress I've been taking on my college people and also my family members. I don't know how to keep myself calm and relaxed. I feel depressed about such things and just can't force myself to laugh. Please advise me on what to do on this.

Hello Janani. From what you've told here I can gather that some thing happened in your life after which things started to go downhill. And now you feel depressed. I would like you to answer a few more questions before starting you on any form of treatment. Do you feel any sort of guilt ? Are you sleeping well? Do you ever get suicidal thoughts ? This thing that was bothering you, is it over now or still continues to be in your life ? And many more such questions.
