Regarding baby weight of 4.5 month old
My baby girls birth weight was 2.5kg. At 3.5 months she was 5.8kg n now at 4.5 months she is weighing 6.15 kg. Her weight has not increased much in 1 month. Exclusively breastfeeding. Should start formula milk if she is not getting enough. She is relatively active pees regularly in a day. But poops once in a week. Please suggest

Not to worry. Birth weight doubles by 4.5 months and triple by 1 yr. Initially baby gains wt rapidly but later speed slow down. So continue exclusive breastfeeding for 6 month. After 6 months you should start cereal -  (mashed Rice dal, dal roti, milk roti ) and continue breast feeding for at least 2yr age.

Dont worry as weight gain of ur baby is very good... Weight double the birth weight at 5months, which baby crossed at 3months... Continue only BF till 6months of age...
Next Steps
weight increase more in 1st 3months...around 700 to 900 grn per month...then next 3months around 500 grms and  aftr 6months of age around 300 grm..

The weight gain is normal for age , no need to add formula milk continue with breast feeding

Baby double their weight by 5 months. As they grow older , activities increases, so weight gain per month comes down
