Regarding anti rabies vaccine
I have been taking anti rabies vaccination for dog bite. Its actually my home pet. Since I had bleeding, I was advised to take vaccination( to be on safer side). I have finished two course. My 3rd course is on Sunday. I have to travel out of station on professional visit. Is it ok if I take my third dose one day in advance ( ie on Saturday). Can somebody please guide me.

It is best to take the first 3 doses without fail on the scheduled dates ,  but if you have no other option , you may take it on Saturday,  or soon aftr coming back ( in one or two days ) . You can take rabies vaccine from any hospital

Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your concern regarding your anti-rabies vaccination schedule. It is important to adhere to the recommended vaccination schedule to ensure maximum protection against rabies. Here are some key points to consider: 1. **Vaccination Schedule**: The anti-rabies vaccination schedule is designed to provide optimal immunity. Deviating from the schedule, even by a day, can potentially affect the effectiveness of the vaccine. 2. **Professional Advice**: It is crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your vaccination schedule. They can provide guidance based on your specific situation and the urgency of your travel. 3. **Travel Considerations**: If your travel is unavoidable, discuss with your healthcare provider the possibility of adjusting the schedule or obtaining the vaccine at your destination. I strongly recommend a consultation to discuss your travel plans and vaccination schedule in detail. For further consultation and to discuss your health in detail, you can reach me directly on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**. Take care .
