Reg mother's feeding

Asked for Female, 25 Years

Hello doctor My son is 3 months old. He used to take my milk only when he is sleeping. I used to wake him up and feed him on regular basis. If he is awake he is not taking my milk regularly. For ex his active timings is 7 hours per day means he used to take only 3 to 4 time in that time period. Many of them said because he is not hungry he will not intake your milk. Please suggest.

The term is 'Demand feeding',means he will feed once he is hungry.just ensure he is passing urine adequately (at least 6 to 8times in 24hours) and gaining weight.
