Is the question regarding pain and redness of the eye ? As the last part mentions redness of nose...could you be more clear?
And have you taken medicine for rhinitis.?
A rhinitis can cause block of the treat tract and thus getting infected and cause medial canthal pain and redness..

Take steam inhalation once a day and an antihistamine once a day for few days.
