Most common causes of this could be an injury or insect bite or allergic reaction. Was there anything like that..

Is there history of some trauma ??? Or injury ? If it's an infection, needs oral and topical antibiotic.
If it's an allergic reaction, anti allergic would be needed.. as insect bite allergy is quite common ..
Best is to take a physical consult to know best treatment..
