Redness & Irrtatn in Eyes

Question

Asked for Male, 25 Years

Suffering from Redness and irritation in eyes for last 10 days. Haven't taken any medication till now. Searched the symptoms on internet and found similar to conjunctivitis. Tried drops of milk and honey 2wice. Usually conjunctivitis gets over in 4-5 days. It is not going even on 10th day.

Hi...., there are various causes for painful red eye....Some of the causes include, Acute conjunctivitis, acute angle closure glaucoma, acute iridocyclitis, chemical or mechanical injury to the eye ball etc....., Treatment options mainly depends upon the underlying cause.... These conditions can sometimes be serious and could threaten your sight, so they should be assessed by a doctor as soon as possible.....Kindly consult your ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment....
