Redness after using diltiazem

My wife is having fissures. She was prescribed diltiazem cream for the same. She has been using it for last two weeks. However since 2 days, redness and swelling has developed around her private part (anal crack).

Hi dear
Please tell if she is having constipation ?
As the medicine will work but if the constipation is not relieved then the redness and bulging will get back again
So continue the medicine and do sitz bath regularly if she is not constipated and still it is happening then u might want to show to a general surgeon
