I've been using a heating pad to help ease back pain for about two and a half years now (don't know whats causing the back pain either) This morning my boyfriend noticed I have these reddish brown splotches covering my entire lower back. When I looked in the mirror I saw that from about mid-back down to the top of my butt cheeks is covered in these red marks. I took a picture of it and would like to get an opinion on if it will be permanent or if it will go away. I'm pretty sure I gave myself "Toasted Skin Syndrome".
