Quite a lot of small bumps in my inside end of my tongue , been there for more than a year , red in colour and not painful, it's just there

Going by the description that you have mentioned this could be the normal taste buds in structures called as circumvallate papillae. They are present in every person and need no treatment. I feel it's a normal papillae of tongue which is partly responsible for the taste.
