Red blood spots on Arm
Hi, On my left arm, there are few red blood spots from past several years. It seems to be like blood clots. Not sure whether this is some type of Allergy but I never felt itching/pain/swelling on these spots. When I rub them with my hand then it got invisible for few seconds but come again. Now after few years, I can see that these spots are increasing on my left arm. I have read it online and found it can be Contact dermatitis but I am not sure as I have very less visible blood clots. I consulted with skin doctor earlier but she did one blood test but nothing came in that report then she asked me to go for biopsy for which I am not ready at all. Can anyone advise what this disease is and how it can be cured?

Thanks for the query. It could be very well related to a contact dermatitis. The diagnosis of same has to be confirmed by a patch test which at times is difficult. An idea of skin biopsy is welcoming and should be considered to rule out close mimickers. Discuss the same with your treating Dermatologist and you will be able to decide. Temporary relief is not what you should aim at but a definite diagnosis. It is comforting to know and treatment can accordingly be planned.
