Hi have this skin allergy, specifically on my right hand fingers, which usually arises out of contact with any food items (vegetables, fruits, dough), chemicals etc. there is burning on my fingers, the urge to rub my fingers or scratch them. The skin becomes red and patchy and tiny cuts appear after that. I have had this allergy since childhood, mainly due to an allergy to brinjal, and I was then prescribed Fucibet ointment, which I used for quite a few years effectively. But of late, it didn't seem so effective and the dermatologist prescribed Clonate ointment, which I have been using regularly, but the allergy never fully subsides. It keeps coming back unless I use the ointment daily, maybe because I cook everyday and come in contact with some acidic chemical or the other in the food.
please advise the best course of treatment to follow
