Recurring acne and breakout
Dear doctor, my son is getting recurring acne and breakouts. He has taken everything from oral Tertinoin to topical tretin to Benzoyl peroxide and GA and HA. Acne gels and all. It was all clear for 15 days and everything came back tho not as bad as previous time. He is currently also on Mactor ASP(from his neurologist) and Finasteride(his previous Dermat). Why is this breakout occurring again and again? What's the possible treatment for it? A little about his lifestyle - he is on his laptop most of the time since he is a student and intern. Underwent right hemicolectomy for ITB? CD? in May 2020

Treatment depends on the grade...Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
