Recurrent miscarriages
I have 2 recurrent miscarriages in 2nd trimester 1st one is due to leaking of amniotic fluid (afi=0) and baby removed, 2nd miscarriage is membranes came out due to cervical incompetence please suggest precautions to be taken before planning next pregnancy and what are the actions to be taken in my next pregnancy

Hi. You should get a BOH profile done including APLA studies, PT, APTT, INR, Protein C, Protein S. Also, during the next pregnancy you will have to get serial ultrasounds done to check for the cervical length & if need be cervical stitches may have to be put. All the best!
