Recurrent anal fissure
I have fissure from last 1.5years which occurs every 3months. If i have just little hard stool only the tip also my fissure cut reopens but now its healing as I'm applying cremagel diltiazem from last 5months. And next month i have a foreign trip with friends so could you please tell me what can i take for soft stools, so my fissure wont come back? I thought of eating prunes, fenugreek powder and flax seed powder. How much prunes should i consume? Should i take cremafin syrup or isabgol daily?

When the Fissure in Ano is short duration ( Acute) no need to worry. Bland, Semisolid diet without spices and high  proteins ( non veg)  along with liberal water intake during food consumption is suggested. This may necessitate temporary pain relief medications & laxatives/ stool softener If this a chronic anal fissure or acute on chronic one, DEFINITELY NEEDS SURGERY, as the fissure sight may bleeds on & off ( due to friction or strain during defecation ) . If neglected goes for perianal abscess or abscess followed by fistula due to constant colonization of BACTERIAS at that raw site Diltigesic cream ( CCB)  after Sitz bath gives temporary sphincter relaxation only Further I like to know whether you are having  fissure only or Sentinel  Skin tag also( skin swelling distal to the Fissure near anal verge), which may cause severe & intolerable  pain during sitting & travelling
Next Steps
My sincere advice is 1st consult qualified and COMPETENT surgeon, along  with COMPLIANT  attender ( relatives) 2nd one, if possible postpone you  trip , as proper treatment is crucial now Thank you

Fissure is one that occurs due to strong pressure u exert on the muscles at the anal opening..what you call motion outlet..so u need to either relax the muscle or avoid hard stool so that even on passing stools the opening won't stretch much and so is the pain reduced.. This regularly passed soft motion Wil therefore help healing of the fissure also After healing..there are high chances if recurrence which can be easily avoided by continuing the fibre diet..fluids..avoiding spicy readymade food and nonveg
Next Steps
Prunes u can have 4-5 ,per day, remaining foods u have discussed also helps but daily u have 3-4 bananas or papaya fruit will help passing loose stools Have 1glass if lukewarm water with jeera boiled in it 20min before passing stools
Health Tips
Cremaffin syrup 15ml per day at n8 can be taken.. but better go with dietary remedies as I suggested than syrups..u may get dependent on syrups when used continuously Ointment Anobliss can be used 5min before passing stools Sitz bath if complaint is more irritating
