How long does vernal limbal keratoconjunctivitis takes to resolve...and does recurrent corneal erosion gets cured?

Acute episodes of VKC usually settles in a week. But it needs a long term prophylaxis especially in the hot months. Recurrent corneal erosion can be kept in check by copious lubricants, it doesn't get healed forever
