Rce,vkc and dry eyes lasikdone year back
6 months after lasik operations,woke up with a severe stabbing eye pain and was diagnosed with dry eye syndrome and now recurring corneal erosion;is there any hope of rce getting fully cured;i have a vitamin d deficiency (6) and borderline vitamin b12 values (235) i also had allergic bronchitis last yr post surgery and now from two weeks suffering from vernal limbal keratoconjunctivitis and rce is there any hope of this two conditions getting cured . I was on rebamipide,restasis,cmc & alcarex

Hello A.  Please don't panic B.  This is a treatable disease C.  We will treat both by 1. Avoid rubbing eyes 2. Cold compresses 3. Blink a lot 4. Restrict mobile or TV use 5. Use antiglare glasses Use lubricating eyedrop and eye ointment( if required) very frequently  and all these measures will help you VkC will keep troubling you every summer and this is quite common problem...
