Rash on hand

Asked for Male, 32 Years

I've had a rash on my hand for about 3 months. At first I thought it was a burn but have determined it is a rash. I think it is hard to get to go away because it is over some crevices that crack Any suggestions on how to get it to go away? Washing the dishes seems to irritate it. Should I cover it? It is maybe 1.5 inches tall by 1 inch wide.
