Today I have completed my 4th dose of vaccine But I have a doubt first three doses were given half-half on both shoulders but 4th dose was given on one shoulder is it fine as this time hospital was different and I have didn't get the bump at site of injection ?

**Dear Patient,**
Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the rabies vaccination. Here’s what you need to know:
1. **Vaccine Administration:**
- The first three doses of the rabies vaccine (Rabivax-S) were correctly administered as half doses on both shoulders, which is a standard practice for some vaccination schedules.
- The 4th dose being given as a single injection on one shoulder is also appropriate. The method may vary slightly depending on the hospital’s protocol, but it does not affect the vaccine’s efficacy.
2. **Bump at Injection Site:**
- The absence of a bump (local reaction) after the 4th dose is normal. Reactions can vary with each dose and are not a measure of the vaccine’s effectiveness.
3. **Next Steps:**
- Ensure you complete the full course of the vaccine as prescribed.
- Monitor for any delayed reactions like mild fever, redness, or swelling, though these are uncommon.
4. **Important Reminder:**
- Rabies is a fatal disease, and timely vaccination is crucial. You’ve taken the right steps by starting the vaccine promptly after the monkey bite.

That means first 3 doses were given intra dermal (hence the bumps in both arms) and the other dose might be given intramuscular pls confirm with the records available.. yes regimen can be shifted from ID TO IM share the records for better clarity
During first dose you would have received TT injection along with Anti rabies vaccine
Generally ARV( Anti rabies vaccine) is administered on Deltoid muscle and it’s usually given in single site injection
