Till date no scientific study showed any proof that says that smoking weed reduces the effectiveness of rabies vaccine. So yes you are protected.

Smoking weed does NOT reduce the protection of rabies vaccine. It does NOT weaken the vaccine effect. You are still protected. You do NOT need to take the rabies vaccine again. Rabies vaccines (HDCV / PCECV / Indrab / Abhayrab) work by stimulating the body to develop protective antibodies. These antibodies remain for years, regardless of: • Weed smoking • Cigarettes • Alcohol • Stress • Exercise • Food habits • Sleep pattern None of these can “cancel” the vaccine or reduce its immunity timeline. The only things that can affect vaccine response are: • Severe immune deficiencies • Cancer chemotherapy • Organ transplant medications • HIV with very low CD4 Not weed.
Health Tips
Smoking weed does not reduce rabies vaccine protection. Your immunity is fully intact. You do not need to repeat the vaccine.
