Hello,  I understand your concern about repeated animal bites after completing a full rabies vaccine course. Here’s what you need to know:  Key Points About Rabies Protection:**  1. **After Completing 5 Doses:**     - You likely have **protective immunity for at least 3–6 months** (possibly longer if immunocompetent).     - However, **immune status matters**—if you have a **low immune system**, additional evaluation is needed.  2. For New Bites Within 3 Months:**     - If the bite is from a healthy, vaccinated pet** (dog/cat) and the skin is not severely broken, **booster doses may not be needed**.     - If the animal is stray/unvaccinated or the wound is deep, 2 booster doses (Day 0 & 3)** are recommended by WHO.  3. Infection Risk (Non-Rabies):**     - Animal bites can still cause bacterial infections (e.g., *Pasteurella*).     - Clean the wound **immediately with soap/water** and monitor for redness/swelling.  When to Seek Immediate Care:**  If the animal was **acting strangely** (aggressive, drooling).  If you develop **fever, headache, or neurological symptoms**.  If your immune system is **severely compromised** (e.g., HIV, chemotherapy).  For **personalized advice based on your immune status and bite severity**, you can consult me on WhatsApp at **eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two**.

Rabies Vaccine After Multiple Animal Bites 🔹 Mild Causes: ✅ If you've completed the full rabies vaccine course recently, your immune system should have developed protection against rabies. ✅ Minor scratches or bites from animals are less likely to transmit rabies if the skin isn't broken. 🔹 Serious Considerations: ⚠️ If the dog or cat shows aggressive behavior or unusual symptoms, it’s essential to monitor them for signs of rabies. ⚠️ People with a low immune system may require additional doses or serological testing to confirm adequate immunity. What You Should Do? ✅ Monitor the Animals: Observe the dog and cat for 10 days. If they show signs of rabies or die, consult a healthcare provider immediately. ✅ Consult a Doctor: If you're immunocompromised or feeling anxious, a healthcare provider can assess whether booster doses are necessary. ✅ Treatment: For previously vaccinated individuals, post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) typically involves 2 booster doses of rabies vaccine given 3 days apart. 👍 Like this info if it helped! 💙 📹 Need a detailed video consultation? If you have taken full dose vaccination once , you need to take only two doses for any exposure in future . You don’t need immunoglobulin for type 3 bite. Yes you need to take vaccination

You only need to take booster doses on day 1and 3 of bite and no need to repeat whole vaccination schedule.

Just make sure there is no bleeding wound at site of wound then you will also need intra lesional injection
