A) If you have received a 2-dose intramuscular booster (Day 0 and Day 3) and a bite occurs within 3 months of completing that, you do NOT need additional rabies vaccine. B)Rabies post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) guidelines are the same for all mammals that can transmit rabies. C) Primary vaccination (Properly administered and completed): If completed properly, future exposures within 3 months of a full primary course also don’t need repeat doses.      Booster dose: any re-exposure within 3 months is considered fully protected, and no further vaccination is needed.
Next Steps
Keep documentation of your April 2025 booster series, in case it’s needed by healthcare providers later.
