Hello Doctors, My question will sound very different but this is what it is i fed a stray dog since last 8 months she is very close to me today she got bitten on her leg by another stary dog now the issue is that while feeding her chapati little part of chpati fell down from her mouth accidently and i picked that up due to love and affection of her and respect to food maybe my finger had her saliva after that i eatan ice cream (cone) from that same hand my mound has multiple wounds now i am having very that if i have picked rabbies virus Imp-she has given rabbies vaccine 6 months ago I have also taken bosster doses almost 9 months ago now what should i do next pls pls help

If it is just licking the saliva of your pet on the open wound.. Wash the wound carefully with dettol /soap If she has been given complete Rabies Vaccine dosages within 5 years Dont worry It fine No need for vaccination Only cleaning and Washing is enough

Preferably take a booster dose. Always ensure proper hand hygiene before having food especially after exposure to animals. Observe the dog for atleast 10 days for any abnormal behaviour.
