Hi,
I am current 3 months pregnant.
My Vitamin D - 36, B12 - 311
Hemoglobin - 13.2
I am currently taking Folwithgyne (1 mg methylfolate)
Faa20 (1.5 mg folic acid)
And Citroking HD (1mg methyfolate) prescribed by gyne.
These supplement have total b6 of 36 mg too. And total of 1517 mcg of b12 due to duplication.
I don't have any deficiency or any risk factors.
Isn't this excessive b9, b6 and b12?
Taking several prenatal products together often means some overlap in B vitamins, since each brand is formulated a little differently. B6, B9 and B12 have a wide safety margin in pregnancy, so this kind of overlap usually isn't harmful.
Next Steps
Still, take your exact list of brands to your gynaecologist or pharmacist so they can check if you really need all three together, or if one can be dropped to avoid unnecessary duplication.
Health Tips
Don't stop or adjust any prescribed supplement's dose on your own. Please consult your gynaecologist before changing anything.
