QUERY REGARDING ANTIBIOTIC
My father is suffering from Typhoid fever and his doctor has prescribed him Gramocef CV ( Cefixime 200 + Clauvanic Acid 125 mg) 1Tab BD and Azithromycin 500 mg 1 Tab OD. Usually an antibiotic is prescribed in equal combination. But why has he here prescribed Gramocef CV twice a day and Azithromycin Once a day ? Is this combination correct ?

Not all antibiotics prescribed twice daily. Prescribed antibiotics are of 2 different group so adviced to take so.
