I had been injected with tetanus prevention injection for a cut 6 months ago ...now do i have to take injection again for same cut ...i know its valid for 6 months ..my query is does that mean after every 6 months i have to take tetanus injection for same cut I had ..i am confused please help ..

If you have taken full immunization schedule for tetanus previously then you need not to take teatnus injection every 6 months.... you have to take a injection every 5 years

just gets a regular dressing done for the cut and take appropriate antibiotics after consultation
